Commission Sales Associate

The Commission Sales Associate must always be ready to assist customers with merchandise selection and ensure that the customer’s overall Lord & Taylor experience is a positive one. The Commission Sales Associate’s earnings are directly related to their sales, which makes their earnings potential unlimited. Counter Manager

General Manager
The General Manager holds the overall responsibility for achieving the store’s sales and earnings plan. Responsibilities include: building functional capability and competency in all areas of the store’s activities, operations, and initiatives; building talent through identification, acquisition and development of strong performers at all levels (executive and associates, selling and support); and building the brand through complete and consistent in-store execution of all initiatives and programs. The General Manager is also responsible for clearly defining the roles, responsibilities and requirements for their direct reports and the general staff, and hold each accountable by setting specific performance expectations, personally following-up, and giving consistent and candid feedback. The General Manager reports directly to the Regional Vice President.

Assistant General Manager
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a developmental position to prepare an executive to become a General Manager. Area Sales Manager

Operations Manager
Operations Manager is a senior-level store position. Responsibilities include directing all activities related to staffing and scheduling objectives to maintain financial controls, ensuring same day standard of delivery of new receipts to the floor, maintaining the highest level of store maintenance and housekeeping, driving all shortage, gift card and credit initiatives, and ensuring that every customer receives our Signature Customer Experience. The Operations Manager assumes total store responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. The Operations Manager reports directly to the General Manager.

Loss Prevention Manager
The Loss Prevention Manager’s primary responsibility is to protect Lord & Taylor assets and employees. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: improve profitability by developing and implementing shortage reduction programs, help maintain a safe business environment, ensure employees comply with all of Lord & Taylor policies and procedures, heighten the awareness of all shortage programs and enforce company standards as related to security and safety procedures. Visual Manager
The Visual Manager executes visual presentations that support key company initiatives and drive overall sales volume. The Visual Manager is responsible for driving store sales and exceeding customer service expectations through singular, tactical ownership of all visual merchandising and presentation within the store. He/she will exploit trends and focus on proprietary brands that maximize sales and train store personnel as well as implement Brand Presentation Standards to ensure storewide consistency.
